Excellent food, great service. Restaurant was clean and neat. We were walking around Balboa Park, 3/4 of the way we stopped for Thais food. Then walked it off with the last 1/4 of the 10k steps... we'll come back for the delicious food and friendly service. We had pineapple fried rice, Panang curry, fried chicken wings, and a salad with fried tofu!!! Everything was excellent!
Update: did take out with my mom because take out and in house dining are different experiences. Food was just as good and fresh. Chicken still not dry. ALSO! The potatoes in the yellow curry were cooked through, which is not always the case with take out. Again food is amazing!
One of my favorite Thai places in the valley. We ordered: -Pad Thai -Pad Kee Mow -Papaya Salad -Chicken Wings -Yellow Curry Everything is so flavorful and I love the spice levels. Just be careful cause it can get spicy! Also love that the noodles stay in tact and don't break on you. I usually order take out since the parking lot is small-ish, but you can typically find street parking in the neighborhood and walk over for dine-in as well. Also not for everyone cause there's a funk to it, but one of my personal faves (not pictured) is the Beef Salad. SO GOOD. IG: @nancyfooddiaries
Pad see ew, panang curry, wonton soup, crying tiger, and chicken satee. All were fantastic. Service for the pickup order was very efficient, food was ready less than 20 mins after ordering, and no wait or hassle to grab the To-Go when inside. Pad see ew wasn't the best I have had but a very reliable option--I recommend the chicken shrimp and beef combo pad see ew. The curry was very tasty and the broth on the wonton soup was smooth and tasty but not overpowering.
